Terms of Service (Online Donations – Florida)

These Terms govern online donations made to Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Inc. (“Habitat Broward”), a Florida not-for-profit corporation and tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
By submitting a donation through this website, you agree that:
- You are authorized to use the payment method provided
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- Your donation is made voluntarily and without the expectation of goods or services in return, unless otherwise disclosed
Habitat Broward reserves the right to refuse or return any donation that appears to be fraudulent, made in error, or inconsistent with our mission or legal obligations.
Donations are processed through secure third-party payment processors that comply with industry security standards. Habitat Broward does not store complete credit card numbers.

Florida Online Donation Refund Policy

Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Inc. (“Habitat Broward”) complies with Florida charitable standards regarding transparency and donor intent.
Online donations are generally non-refundable because funds are used immediately to support housing and home repair programs.
Refunds may be granted at Habitat Broward’s discretion for:
- Duplicate charges
- Incorrect donation amounts
- Obvious transaction errors
Refund requests must be made within 7 calendar days of the transaction.
To request a refund, donors must provide:
- Name used on the transaction
- Approximate donation date and amount
- Reason for the request
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.
