We need your help!

Habitat Broward’s Y.E.P. Youth Empowerment Program is working with United Way of Broward County to help collect essential items for chronically homeless people to be placed in apartments. United Way of Broward County is helping ensure these individuals receive the mental health and medical services they need to remain off the streets.

You can support Project Shoebox by donating basic supplies to help with daily personal needs, such as:

  • Travel-size shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Travel-size soap
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Travel-size lotion
  • Hair comb/brush
  • Sunblock
  • Lip balm
  • Adhesive bandages
  • Hand towels
  • Antibiotic ointments
  • Socks
  • Tampons
  • Pany liners
  • Travel-size water bottles
  • Rain ponchos
  • Resealable zipper storage bags
  • Prepaid phone cards

Make it fun! Decorate a shoebox with your favorite stickers, colors, and accessories to help provide essential living supplies to a man, woman, child, or family in need. We cannot accept medicine, food, sewing kits, used, or opened items.

Please drop off shoeboxes or any of the supplies listed above at the Habitat Broward ReStore (505 West Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312).
