JM Family to Build Four Homes in Collier City in Partnership with Habitat for Humanity

On Saturday, November 18, 2017, in Pompano Beach, Florida,  JM Family Enterprises kicked off its first Habitat for Humanity build of the 2017-2018 season!  JM Family has collaborated with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization which provides safe and affordable shelter to families in need, for more than a decade. This year’s partnership will provide four homes to deserving families Broward.

JM Family is focused on making a lasting impact in the South Florida community. By partnering with Habitat for Humanity, JM Family associates extend a helping hand to families in need by providing them with safety, shelter and a place to call home. Since partnering with Habitat for Humanity in 2002, JM Family has helped construct 31 houses with more than 1,000 associates investing over 24,000 hours into projects throughout Broward County. Previous homes built by JM Family associates have earned LEED Gold certification – an important measure towards minimizing environmental impact. 

Six additional weekend builds will follow through spring 2018 to complete construction, roof installation, painting and landscaping. Keys to these new homes will be turned over to their excited owners during a dedication ceremony in May.
