Trudy Henry is a mother of three who works at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-Hollywood as a server and as a receptionist at the Ritz Carlton. She was living in an apartment that had a terrible mold problem that eventually became unsafe for her kids and herself. The landlord was absent and the family had to stay in a tiny hotel room for three months until it was repaired. When she finally was able to move back, she needed to share the apartment with her sister and her children, putting 10 people in a three-bedroom apartment. At the same time after a false diagnosis, Trudy was finally diagnosed with breast cancer. She is fighting the disease with determination and guts and it hasn’t kept her from working on the job site. She is an incredibly positive person who always has a smile on her face. Trudy is determined to create a better life for her kids and the brighter future that comes from homeownership.
