Habitat for Humanity of Broward Appoints New Board Chair

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (September 03, 2022) – Habitat for Humanity of Broward has appointed Lily Pardo as Board Chair.

Pardo is the Director of Public Relations & Community Affairs at WSVN Channel 7, a local, family-owned Fox affiliate, and #1 rated news station in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market.

In her role at WSVN, Pardo works closely with valued community leaders across sectors. She is also an active board member for the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade and Jack & Jill Children’s Center.  She has served on the Board for the American Cancer Society in Miami-Dade and is a former member of the marketing committee for the NSU Art Museum.

Pardo began her career at WSVN, while attending Barry University in Miami Shores. She left WSVN for a two-year stint at KJRH-TV NBC, a Scripps Howard owned television station in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Upon her return to South Florida, she created a small special events firm, and managed the programming and marketing of music events, film festivals and national charitable fund-raisers. Lily has also represented diverse clients such as the former Dade Human Rights Foundation, Gulfstream Park, and the Clio Advertising Awards.
